Senior Financial Accountant Role, Technology

You will report directly into a Head of Finance who puts learning and development at the forefront of your day-to-day activities and will have a defined career pathway laid out for you.

 

 

About The Role

 

This is not your standard financial accountant role in that you will get exposure to much more than month-end and offers the ideal opportunity for a strong technical accountant who is keen on broadening their skills outside of professional services.

 

Your responsibilities will include the following:

 

• Supporting month-end close

• Supporting technical accounting, in particular with regard to AASB 15 (Revenue) and AASB 17 (leases)

• Business partnering with sales, operations and marketing across the wider business to explain results and company performance

• Project type work, such as process improvement through automation to increase efficiencies across the finance function

• Leading the external audit process

 

 

Skills / Experience required:

 

The ideal candidate is a professional services first or second mover who has audited large listed businesses.

 

• Professional services audit experience (Essential)

• Big 4 or mid-tier experience (Essential)

• Any exposure to Technology, in audit or elsewhere, is a plus
