Our client is a leading corporate based in Melbourne who is looking for an Operational Excellence lead to support their operational excellence and transformation agenda across the company.
Our client is seeking a full time employee who will identify, design and implement operational improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve productivity. You will lead a small team, which you will help to develop and coach around best practice methodologies / core consulting skills relating to operational improvement.
This role is based in Melbourne, Victoria.
As the Operational Excellence Lead, you will:

Identify, Strategise, Design and Implement operational improvement initiatives and projects

Lead and deliver company wide process optimisation reviews, identifying opportunities, prioritising, and developing plans and associated benefits

Develop monthly reporting and presentations for Executive leaders on status and outcome of initiatives and KPI's

Support tracking and reporting of benefit realisation targets

Coach and mentor a small team on process optimisation and operational excellence best practices (including LEAN), methodologies and frameworks to ensure quality and standardisation

Manage Executive and Team level stakeholder relationships, helping to influence and engage team members through change and design of initiatives

Promote and celebrate great change management practices, in line with culture work
Who we're are looking for:

Significant experience as an Operations Advisory Consultant at a Consulting firm, preferably centred around process improvement

Experience leading projects or workstreams of work to deliver tangible outcomes (productivity improvement, cost reduction targets etc)

Demonstrated ability to influence, strategically advise and support senior stakeholders

Experience leading and developing improvement initiatives whilst considering people, technology, process and new ways of working

Strong people leadership skills, with evidence of mentoring and leading teams to deliver projects

Strong understanding of problem solving methodologies and frameworks as well as strong project and time management skills with a track record of delivery.
