Internal Audit Senior Consultant, Consulting

• $90,000 - $120,000 package, depending on the candidate

 

Responsibilities:

​

• Plan, execute and lead audit engagements, including risk assessment and development of improvement recommendations

• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing feedback on their performance

• Develop and maintain audit programs, workpapers, and reports, delivering concise and insightful reports to key stakeholders

• Contribute to the development of a risk-based annual audit plan, and collaborate with other professionals within the organisation to deliver high-quality services to clients

 

 

Requirements:

​

• Background in Consulting, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Internal Audit & Risk Management

• Proactive risk mindset, with the ability to identify, discuss and act on current and future risks

• Strong understanding of a range of strategic, financial, and operational process risks and controls

• Ability to deliver timely and effective execution of internal audits, managing audit engagements and client relationships

• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

• Self-motivated individual who displays a "can-do" pro-active style, able to work independently and as part of a team

• Degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related subjects, with relevant post-graduate qualifications (CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent) preferred.
